Dr. Silverman is a guest lecturer for the Mather Hospital Adult Psychiatry Residency Program. Dr. Silverman gave a presentation to local mental health therapists in South Florida entitled “Medications 101: What Non-Prescribers Need to Know”. During this presentation, Dr. Silverman discussed principles of psychopharmacology, FDA indications and dosages for pediatric and adult populations, some of the common as well as more serious adverse effects of medications and answered questions to help non-prescribers feel empowered to better advocate for their clients.
