How do I get started?

Step 1: To book an appointment with Dr. Silverman, please either complete the new patient form below or call us at 561-247-1915. We will provide you with a brief phone consultation free of charge.
Step 2: During our initial phone call, if we are a good fit to work together, we will schedule you for a day and time for the initial consult appointment. Changes to appointments must be made no less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. In order to schedule this appointment, we will need the patient’s name, date of birth and best email address.
Step 3: You will receive an email invite that you can click to create an account in our patient portal. When you have made an account, you can begin completing the paperwork that will be in your portal account. All paperwork can be completed electronically in the patient portal and must be completed prior to your first appointment.
*Please note that the patient portal allows you to to send and receive secure messages, upload paperwork/forms, complete questionnaires and allow you to pay your balance online.
**Also of note, we are a paperless office! As stated above, all paperwork can be completed in the patient portal. However, if you prefer paper copies of any paperwork, please kindly notify Dr. Silverman and he can provide paper copies for you.

Do you provide medication management or therapy?
Dr. Silverman provides both medication management and therapy services! Treatment is individually tailored to each patient based on their needs. Some patients may only need medication management whereas others may need only need psychotherapy services. Some patients may need a combination of medication management and therapy services, which Dr. Silverman provides. Dr. Silverman believes in a collaborative approach to treatment and will discuss various treatment options with you.
Who do we serve?
Dr. Silverman treats patients from ages 2 years old to 64 years old. He treats a wide variety of conditions, which can be found on the services page of this website. Please contact the office for more information about the services that Dr. Silverman provides.
Do you accept insurance?
While Dr. Silverman does not accept insurance, we are happy to provide you with a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits.
Can I use my insurance to help cover the costs of treatment?
The office can provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company. This form may allow for use of out-of-network benefits if your insurance plan permits. Insurance companies may not cover the full cost of treatment. We provide individualized care tailored to your needs.
Can medications be electronically prescribed?
Yes, all medication prescriptions can be sent electronically straight to the pharmacy of your choice so you don’t have to bring a paper script.
What does the evaluation process consist of?
Prior to your first appointment, Dr. Silverman will send you an invitation to the patient portal where you will be able to complete all of the intake forms electronically (paper copies available upon request!). The patient portal can be found on the website by clicking the orange button labeled “Patient Portal”. During your first appointment, Dr. Silverman will provide a comprehensive evaluation as well as discuss the treatment plan.

Where is the office located?
The office address is just minutes from I-95 in between Yamato Road and Spanish River Blvd. We are located at the Sanctuary Tower and Shoppes building in the Executive Suites section. When arriving at the building, please park near Jewels In Time and take the elevator to the right of the store up to the second floor, where the lobby entrance will be on your left.
